Holiday - Part 1

Back on Malaysian soil!

Just a week spent overseas and I have gained 3 kgs....3KGS!! huhu...that is pitiful
I was pretty much expecting it because I have been consuming food like crazy when I was there- gobbling down fish and chips, walker chips, coke, caramel pudding, super delicious halal food in Rusholme, and a heavy carbo diet in the morning for breakfast coz I can only consume bread and some sauteed mushrooms at the hotel buffet.


Arrived at Heathrow airport on Saturday ( 12th July) morning and rent a car and drove all the way to Lancaster. Used a map to navigate our way to Lancaster. At this moment I realised I was map-illiterate. Mum passed me the map book and the only thing I managed to say was 'uhm...so nak ikut the blue line or the red line?' I will brush up on reading maps later...

Picked up my sister at her friends' house and checked in at Holiday Inn. That is me and sis. I was pretty exhausted then and I desperately needed a bath.

Waiting for the room. I haven't washed my hair for 3 days or so...haaa.. and what pissed me off was the weather in UK. It was supposed to be summer but it was soo cold and the wind was blowing harder than ever.

The following day we went to Manchester to buy some stuff since its Summer Sales. Shopping areas were crowded with people running around it was making me feel suffocated . We decided to end it early and mum said that she will do her shopping at the airport.

Its graduation day! On the way to send my sister for her graduation. She went first to collect her graduation robe and breakdown results.

In the car on the way to graduation. Had to endure traffic jam again! We were worried that we couldnt make it on time but we did! oh god...there is too much powder on my face, borrowed mum's makeup lol!

We left for Edinburgh, Scotland the next day! Me and mum outside the hotel waiting for papa to drive the car around. Spot the Argos van in the background.

Me and my sis. It was freezing...I did not not have my jacket on coz it was stuffed somewhere in my bag. See, even the yellow plant is wilting in the background, its lying on the road.

Losing Sound

My sleeping routine has gone haywire..now I can only shut my eyes at 3.am no matter how badly I try to force myself to sleep. Because of that I have been taking 2-3 hour naps in the afternoon, by accident, of course.

Nadal won the tennis Wimbledon Championship!!! First I was all upset that Federer did not win, it was a close call, ok. then I watched Nadal's interview about winning his first Wimbledon, and he was so HUMBLE about it, so I guess he is not so bad after all...

I watched this today.. it was alright...turned out better than Ocean's 12 but not as good as Ocean's 11. George Clooney is yummyy,I also like that weird computer/programmer guy, Levingston or something like that, he is so nervous all the time ;)

I will not be here from Friday until i-am-not-sure-when....so see ya.....

Maybe I will write one more post before I leave, I am so out of ideas regarding what to write. I watched this documentary about the hidden files of the JFK Assasination and I did not understand it lol, i didnt get it. did they obtain new evidence or not? the dude keep on talking about obtaining hidden files but he did not reveal anything about it, or maybe i just didn't understand it...haa

*It was a few weeks before exams and me, pj, and sara were in the library. i was talking to them and listening to my ipod at the same time. i was listening to Idioteque - Radiohead. i dont know why suddenly i just said Sara, this song is just like you minus the letters e-q-u-e, sajeje main2 and then she just laughed, i laughed aswell. i dont mean it ok! my apologies. haha

i miss college loads! i miss friends, especially all thoes crazy people in PBI, the teachers, the fun classes, lunch time!!, i really miss lunch time ( in the early mornings, pj and i dah mula pikir what to eat..haha) , the library ( sitting at the big table), and stalking cute boy aka deer..

Days On End

Just finished applying my accomodation for uni!

Type of room : Studio

They will confirm a place for me in August if my RESULTS are good enough...I actually wanted to put
single sex area : YES
quiet area : YES
but if I put more conditions they will put me at the deserted part of the campus. I just hope to be placed near my LECTURE classes and near the mini grocery shop on campus, so that I dont have to walk so far. tsk tsk....always want everything easy.

I pity myself. I forgot the word 'VACUUM CLEANER'. (seriously!)
There was this one plugpoint at my house which is faulty and my maid plugged in the vacuum cleaner causing an electric trip which caused the plugpoints all around the house to be,well, faulty aswell.
I called my dad to explain the situation:

Papa : What exactly happenned?
Me: Kak tried to plug in the uhhh....the uhhh the thing that 'sucks in dust' apa ke namanya.
Papa: thats a Vacuum Cleaner..*laughs*

Finished reading The Client, first legal thriller that I have read and I musts say its really good, very suspenseful. I adore the main character, Mark Sway, super intelligent, street smart that is, daring, and impulsive and he is just 11 years old. He obviously exist only in between pages of the book.

Since I have loads of time now I have been catching up with all 3 CSI shows on AXN. My favourite CSI used to be

you know why?
because Las Vegas cases just got really boring, even Grissom being all wise and intelligent cant stop me from yawning and Warrick got shot at the end! I hope they include him in the next season or I will strike Las Vegas off that list.

NY is becoming more interesting lately. Someone has been threatening Mac secretly, its keeping me on my toes and now even the cases its just so full of suspense.

as for Miami, actually the murder cases are good, the CSI team is good, I should like it right? but I just find Horatio unbearable...he is the type yang 'macam bagus' but I like everyone else!
